3rd Shift Production Staff

Department: Hummus/ 401
Location: Haverhill, MA

Production: Packing and/or Filling Associate

Shift: 3rd, 11:00pm to 7:30am

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the highest level of food safety is achieved
  • Operation of all related filling, processing and sterilizing equipment and sampling responsibilities.
  • The operator will also be responsible for safety, general housekeeping and team support. 
  • Operators may also be required to operate finishing other equipment
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.
  •  Reacts and takes corrective action to all deviations to the normal production conditions.
  • Monitors charts and performs tests to assure sterility.
  • Reviews and performs calculation for work orders and charts. Operates CIP/SIP processor/filling equipment including hookups.
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of the work order and other required documentation.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
  • Performs preventive maintenance as required on production equipment. 
  • Responsible for maintaining and replenishing production materials.
  • Completes general housekeeping and sanitation tasks.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate records on all inventories.
  • This position is accountable for complying with applicable FDA (GMP), USDA, OSHA and Cedars Nutrition regulations, policies, procedures or guidelines.


  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently throughout an 8 hour shift
  • Able to work in variable temperatures between 34 – 55F throughout shift
  • Fast learner, Dependable
  • Excellent communication skills

Weekend/overtime work is required on a rotating basis
